I was hoping someone could suggest a type of hedging plant that i could use aroung a pool to hide my colourbond fence. The planiting area is in an L shape and the beds are about 600 -800 mm in with. I currently have cordylines (electric pink) and agaves. The area gets morning sun but there is some shade from the shrubs next door. Thanks.

Don't know your climate but maybe one of the small lilly pillies (Acmena 'Allyn Magic'), a colourful coprosma ('Rainbow Surprise') or Hymenosporum flavum 'Gold Nugget'.

Hi, I've used Acmena 'Hot Flush around my pool to do the exact same job. It gets a nice flush of red growth twice a year and only grows to about 2.5m. It's flowers are small and aren't messy, neither is the fruit. It's working really well. I highly recommend it.
