Just to encourage any near conversions to yesterday's plant, I'm following up today with the variation of a dwarf version.
The ordinary, tall sansevierias that attract the common name Mother-in-Law's Tongue come with different stripes and bands of green, grey and yellow. Just about all of those tall varieties have a dwarf avatar called bird's nest sansevierias. For yesterday's tall ‘Laurentii', the squat version is ‘Gilt Edge' which – because of my weakness for variegated edges – I have newly planted en masse in a shallow ceramic bulb pot.
‘Gold Hahnii' has broader yellow stripes than this one.
